Adult Beginners Contemporary 

Beginners Contemporary is a dance class for anyone who wants to find their flow, meet other dance enthusiasts and enjoy their Monday evenings, while improving physical and mental wellbeing. Focusing on the fundamentals of Contemporary Technique, the course will target a new movement theme each session, blend it with some funky tunes and classic moves and leave you feeling motivated for the rest of the week. This class is open to all and welcomes dancers of all backgrounds, ages and levels of experience.

Who's it with?

Emma Read is a dancer and dance teacher from Scotland. She has taught in a variety of settings, which started during her professional training at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance. She has performed as a dancer nationally and internationally. As a teacher, her goal is to create a joyous and fulfilling environment where you can grow, be yourself and connect through dance.

What Level?

This class is aimed at beginners with little to no dance experience.

What does it cost?

Classes are £8 each with Course Passes available ahead of each half-term.

What should I bring?

Comfy clothes that preferably cover your knees and shoulders. No shoes on the dance floor so make sure you bring socks if you are not comfortable barefoot.
